Colombia opened Group K with a 3-1 win over debutants Uzbekistan at the Azteca Stadium. Daniel Muñoz scored from a Luis Díaz assist, Abbosbek Fayzullaev briefly levelled with Uzbekistan’s first World Cup goal, before Díaz and Jaminton Campaz sealed victory.
