FIFA has cancelled World Cup tickets issued to about 60 fans who mistakenly received them for free because of a website error, the latest controversy to hit a troubled ticketing program. The governing body said the tickets were allocated at no charge due to a checkout payment issue and that the seats remain reserved for the fans to buy at the correct price. The mispriced tickets were sold on May 21, months after FIFA had declared all 104 matches sold out. The attorneys general of New York and New Jersey are investigating the tournament's ticket pricing, with the event opening on June 11 in Mexico City.
