Lionel Messi came off the bench and converted a penalty as Argentina beat Iceland 3-0 in Auburn, Alabama, in their last friendly before the World Cup. They were his first minutes on the pitch since picking up a hamstring issue in late May. The goal took Messi to 117 for Argentina and made him the oldest scorer in the national team's history. The defending champions open their title defence against Algeria on June 16, with the 38-year-old beginning a record sixth World Cup.
