England manager Thomas Tuchel says his team should not be counted among the World Cup favourites, pointing to the 60 years since their only triumph in 1966 and to nations with more recent success such as Argentina, Brazil, Spain and France. Speaking before the final warm-up against Costa Rica, Tuchel described England as competitors and challengers who dare to dream, urging his players to focus on the group stage first and insisting any side that reaches the quarter-finals can go all the way.
